The Appliance Gallery ("we", "us", "our") sells home appliances from our showroom in Achimota, Accra, Ghana and via this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site, why, and how it's handled.

We collect information you give us directly:

• Creating an account: your name, email address and password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never store or can see your actual password), and optionally a phone number.
• Signing in with Google: your name, email address and Google account identifier, shared with us by Google after you approve it.
• Submitting a product enquiry, complaint, or review: your name, phone number, and whatever you write in the message.
• Looking up an order or complaint status: the phone number you enter, used only to find and return the matching record.

We do not collect payment card details through this website — we don't use a payment processor here. Orders are finalised and paid for directly with our team, by cash, mobile money or bank transfer, in the showroom or over WhatsApp.

• To create and manage your account, and let you sign back in.
• To respond to product enquiries, complaints, and reviews you submit.
• To look up your own order or complaint history when you ask us to.
• To contact you about an order, delivery, warranty, or complaint you're already in touch with us about — usually by phone or WhatsApp, at the number you gave us.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason.

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:

• Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google," Google handles that authentication and confirms your identity to us.
• Our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Prisma) — store the site's data, including customer accounts, securely.
• Cloudflare — hosts our product photography. No personal information is stored there.

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one — we don't control how WhatsApp (Meta) handles messages on their platform.

We keep account and order-related information for as long as your account is active, or as long as we reasonably need it to handle warranty claims, complaints, or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see "Your rights" below.

This site uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart — we don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

You can ask us, at any time, to see what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and associated data. Contact us using the details below and we'll act on it promptly.
